Multiplay Events and QD Events have teamed up to bring Scotland's largest gaming festival to life, with up to 10,000 visitors expected to attend the 72 hour event at its new home of the SEC, with tickets available now to purchase.
Insomnia Scotland X Resonate includes activities and entertainment that make Insomnia unique and popular with tens of thousands of gamers attending annually. Areas included are the Exhibition Hall containing a variety of feature zones and games for all ages. These include a Minecraft Zone, VR Zone with the latest headset and games, the Indie Zone which provides the opportunity to try new and upcoming independently developed games, whilst the Retro Zone will take gamers down memory lane with 8-bit and classic console games.
Furthermore, the Retail Zone will consist of popular gaming merchandise as well as some cool swag on sale, the Main Stage hosts Special Guests such as Syndicate, Terroriser, 8 Bit Gaming & Razzbowski playing the latest games as well as Panel Talks and Q&A sessions.
Insomnia’s investment in esports continues with Insomnia Scotland X Resonate, reaching out to grass roots through to elite level. Insomnia Scotland X Resonate provides the opportunity for Scottish players to enter and compete in tournaments on both PC and Console, featuring titles such as Tekken, Rocket League, FIFA 17, Overwatch and Call of Duty: Infinity Warfare.
