Fans can look forward to headline sets from Welsh rockers Stereophonics, true rock ‘n’ roll star Liam Gallagher, a UK festival exclusive from Arctic Monkeys, the legendary Queen + Adam Lambert and closing act The Killers, with a host of other acts taking to the different stages over the two weekends whether you love stadium rock, dance music, acoustic performances or spotting the best new talent, TRNSMT is the place to be this summer.
Stereophonics front man Kelly Jones spoke about his excitement for the up-coming festival saying: “TRNSMT lineup looks like a great weekend for all! Happy to be headlining the Friday and getting another chance to play in front of the beautiful, always up for it, Scottish crowds!”
And he’s not the only one, indie rocker Miles Kane spoke of how he is raring to go ahead of TRNSMT. Miles Kane said: “It’s been too long since I’ve been on stage - I cannot wait to get up and perform a high energy set with a couple of new bangers thrown in! Bring it on!”
Talking about this weekend’s event on the sunshine-drenched site today, Geoff Ellis, CEO of DF Concerts said: “TRNSMT is right around the corner and we are so excited for it all to start. With this amazing summer weather we have right now, it’s important that fans keep hydrated on the days leading up to and during TRNSMT and put plenty of sun cream on throughout the festival so they can enjoy TRNSMT this weekend.
"To ensure you see as much music as possible, there’s two entrances to the festival so we’re encouraging fans to use the East entrance where possible as well as the West. Look after yourselves and each other!”
