Following a short break Super Market Glasgow is back this Sunday 29th July 11am - 5pm, and is bigger than before with over 50 traders and a whole host of activities for the whole family to enjoy. The first 2 Super Market events, which are hosted at the newly transformed Argyle St Arches venue, saw a total well of over 2000 people through the door to enjoy some of the finest makers, creatives and retailers Scotland has to offer. The event is fast becoming the ultimate independent shopping experience in the heart of the City.
Visitors are treated to a wide range of traders from fashion designers, beauty & skincare, jewellery, zero waste products, food & drink produce, artists, gifts, plants, vinyl records, homeware, furniture as well some of the best stalls from Glasgow Vintage & Flea Market. As well as plenty of shopping there are also a whole host of activities to keep everyone amused such as an on site masseuse, children area with free face painting and free art activities for children and adults. As well as all this guests are invited to take part in free Screen Printing sessions where they can bring their own tote bag or t-shirt and screen print their own design or a Super Market logo.
Dogs are also welcome to the space and so they don’t miss out on the fun local dog photography studios - Classy Dog Studios will be offering free mini sessions - all dogs of all shapes and sizes are welcome to get their photo taken all day!
Visitors are asked to pay a £1 donation for entry with 50% of profits going to local refugee charity Refuweegee. The Glasgow Markets have donated £3250 to local charities and community groups so far in 2018.
Food and drink are available all day from Platform, the curated street food market featuring some of Scotlands finest street food and feeling the shopping is Thomsons Coffee.
