On Saturday 1st September, Cineworld is bringing four epic movies back to the big screen - in thrilling 4DX. Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Life of Pi, Wreck-It Ralph and Gravity will be presented in 4DX for the first time ever in the UK across 20 locations nationwide, giving you the opportunity to take these classics to the next level.
Providing a revolutionary cinematic experience which stimulates all five senses - 4DX features high-tech moving seats and special effects including wind, fog, water and scents which synchronise perfectly with the action on screen to fully immerse you in the movie.
For one day only, Cineworld will showcase the work of celebrated directors James Cameron (Terminator 2: Judgment Day), Ang Lee (The Life Of Pi) and Alfonso Cuaron (Gravity) plus Disney’s Oscar-nominated animation Wreck-It Ralph in 4DX for the first time in the UK. At every turn, 4DX will make the ride more intense, whether it’s the rush of the motorcycle chase in Terminator 2: Judgment Day, the weightlessness of Gravity or the powerful waves of the ocean in Life Of Pi. This one-time opportunity gives you the chance to feel part of these much-beloved films on the big screen like never before. Plus, this is your chance to jump into the retro universe of Wreck-It Ralph before he returns to Break the Internet on 30th November in Wreck-It Ralph 2.
Shaun Jones, VP of Operations, said: “Since we introduced 4DX to the UK in 2015, it has been greatly received by our customers across the country with Avengers: Infinity War and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom being two of the most popular titles. We’re delighted to deliver another first for our customers and cannot wait to see the reaction of fans after being fully immersed in these classics. We hope everyone enjoys 4DX - Never Been Seen this Summer at Cineworld.”
