You will learn how to make simple shapes using coils, slabs and press molds. In the first session we will be making mobiles and hanging works, we will use lots of colour, pattern and interesting shapes! You will also make a small tea light holder from clay, you can choose whether you would like this to be a very simple design or something more playful and decorative, using the skills and techniques you have already gained.
Week 1: Learn how to cut shapes in clay

Learn how to make and join coils to make shapes in clay
Week 2: Learn how to create surface texture and pattern in clay to finish each section of mobile ready to be fired
Week 3: Learn how to make small tea light holder with skills learned in weeks 1 & 2
Week 4: Learn how to glaze using dipping and painting techniques
