Join South Glasgow Heritage & Environment Trust for a fun, free, family friendly afternoon of crafts, activities, talks, and heritage stalls, celebrating local history as part of the Southside Fringe!

About Southside Heritage Celebration

Help shape our archive of the people, places and events that make South Glasgow, by making your mark on our giant interactive map and sharing your memories. Crafts and activities include badge making, colouring in, and a treasure hunt in Maxwell Park.

Heritage stalls include: South Glasgow Heritage and Environment Trust, Colourful Heritage, Govanhill Baths Community Archive,TS Queen Mary, Langside Community Heritage, Glasgow Caledonian University Archives, and Glasgow City Heritage Trust. Talks will include a reading by Henry Bell, author of John Maclean: Hero of Red Clydeside. Clifford Hall in Pollokshields Burgh Hall is wheelchair accessible and refreshments will be provided.
