You awake in a sealed pod looking out into a strange room, around you, you see others trapped in pods like yours. Suddenly you hear something… disgusting insect-like creatures skuttle into the room. Your pod and a few others are dragged into a chamber filled with medical tools. Humans like you open the pods only to restrain you to something that resembles a bed.
-- If you’re playing as an indoctrinated player --
You’re injected with a serum and fall asleep. Suddenly you realise these aliens aren’t actually trying to hurt you. They just have a difficult time conveying their message to humans. You realise their goal is to greatly advance your civilisation to be one of a higher status in the galaxy with knowledge of interstellar travel.
The aliens untie the bonds that were restraining you to your bed. Some of your fellow humans seem to be running around the ship attacking these beautiful creatures and causing havoc. You must show them the error of their ways.
-- If you’re playing as a deprogrammed player --
Suddenly you see someone break free of their restraints, grab a bone saw, and start hacking away at those… things. With all your strength and a little help from those escaping, you manage to break free and run out the door but before doing so you look back to see humans capturing other humans.
You manage to find a safe place to hide. You look out the nearest window. I’M IN SPACE! you cry to yourself. You can’t believe this is happening. You don’t know what those insect-things have done to the other humans but they seem to know their way around the ship. You’ll need to find a way to reverse their indoctrination if you’re ever to get off this ship and back to earth safely.
Our game begins with players being assigned into one of two teams the deprogrammed and the indoctrinated, the deprogrammed are attempting to overrun the ship and bring the alien overlords down while the indoctrinated are building their strength and attempting to drag the deprogrammed back to their masters to join their ranks.
Player's need to juggle their own personal goals while avoiding being captured by the opposing team. Sometimes players will need to deal with difficult scenarios created by the aliens as well.
