Why Attachment Matters in Play

About Why Attachment Matters in Play

This session will look at the importance of play - the building block of human development, and the relationship between attachment and play.

Theraplay® is an attachment-based therapeutic approach that uses structured play to enhance attachment, self-esteem, trust in others and joyful engagement. We will look at the principles of TheraPlay®, and how it can be used by everyone living or working with children of all ages.

This will be a practical session, we will try out some of the techniques – so come ready to play!

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Why Attachment Matters in Play are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment. All information (whether in text or photographs) is given in good faith but should not be relied upon as being a statement of representation or fact.
