As part of their Scottish Government Climate Challenge Funded project, the Cumbernauld YMCA are hosting their first FREE home energy workshop at The Glasvegan on November 28th!
About The Glasvegan & YMCA: Home Energy Workshop
*The workshops starts on Thursday 28th November from 6pm to 8pm. Please email myself to book a place for the workshop.*
So come along, grab some yummy food, a hot coffee and find out ways you could be saving hundreds to thousands of pounds every single year. Fuel poverty effects 1 in 3 people, so find out ways you can assist yourself or others.
Find out how you can improve your health through home improves to combat the symptoms of arthritis, asthma and reduces the effects of mould etc.
Speak to our expert about any questions you may have and how you can make changes in your life. If you rent or own, all can learn ways to help fight climate change.
Skill level: Any and all!
• From beginners to experts on home energy (come along meet your community and engage in important conversations)
• This may be of interest to student, senior citizens or anyone who wishes to save money, improve health and fight climate change.
Suitable for: All ages welcome. Those under 16 must get permission from parents or guardians to attend session.
What do I need to bring:
Home energy bill (preferably)
What will be provided during the session:
Plenty of opportunities to ask questions and converse with other attendees.
