About Afternoon Lecture: Sacred Threads - Netta Ewing
The Sacred Threads Embroiderers Guild may be the only ecclesiastical embroiderers guild in Scottish History. Its founder and designer, Netta Ewing inspired by our strong Celtic Design tradition, seeks to formulate new religious symbolism for the 21C to uphold design standards and provoke new meditations on faith.
2.00 – 4.00pm Come and see inspiring ecclesiastical pieces designed by Netta Ewing for Scottish bishops, and observe her guild members creating new works.
