About Scottish Portrait Awards

Selected from hundreds entered for the annual Scottish Portrait Awards Competition by judges including John Byrne, Imogen Gibbon from the Scottish National Portrait Gallery, Malcolm Dickson from Street Level Photoworks in Glasgow and contemporary artist Gordon Mitchell who is the SPA Director.

The diverse exhibition includes paintings, drawings, sculptures and photography. It features work by the winner of the £5000 SPA in Fine Art, Michael Youds 'I was blue, he was red' and the winner of Scotland's largest photography prize, Simon Murphy's 'Alan Tanner' as well as the winning works in the Young Fine Artist and Young Photographer Award.

Entry to the Glasgow Art Club is free - all welcome - just ring the bell and come on in.
