The concert centres around an exciting world premiere of a new clarinet concerto written by Spanish composer Gustavo Trujillo, inspired by the sights and sounds of Tenerife. It is given its first ever performance tonight by Tenerife-born soloist Maximiliano Martin, one of Scotland’s most highly-respected clarinettists for whom it was written.
