Join Eugene Ripper, Canadian punk pioneer as he marks the Glasgow release of a new single “ Ride The Northern Train/Dark as a Dungeon” AND the launch of his wee book of “Rock n Roll Poetry” featuring select illustrations by Scotland's Ross Craig (Zi Illustrations / Black Cat Bone)
From his roots with Canadian first wave punk rockers Stark Naked and the Fleshtones and throughout an enduring solo career featuring a mashup of punk, folk, roots and rock n roll, Ripper continues to nail it down with his unique multi style vibe – it’s all well represented on these latest recordings.

"This collection of poems was first published as a stapled chapbook adorned with a few hand stamped images I’m delighted to report that this iteration is something else indeed as the graphic talents of Edinburgh's Ross Craig now enrich the words.
I met Ross over a shot of whisky and a creative pitch at the Voodoo Rooms in Edinburgh after a performance by his band Black Cat Bone. Super cool stuff. One thing led to another (again) and here we are."
