Workshop: Balancing Hormones Naturally

About Workshop: Balancing Hormones Naturally

More than ever women are experiencing a rise in hormones, leading to conditions such as Pre-menstrual Syndrome (PMS), endometriosis, poly-cystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), infertility, and issues relating to menopause. These issues can be attributed to imbalances in the hormones oestrogen, progesterone and testosterone. Unfortunately, hormone imbalance is common and often undiagnosed/misdiagnosed or outright ignored, and in all cases lead to distressing symptoms and a feeling of being out of control.

Many women are rethinking attitudes to medicine and are turning to natural approaches to address the root cause as well as alleviate symptoms. There is a visible increase, especially in the under-30’s, in people considering what they put in their bodies and the potential long-term effects.

With over 10 years clinical experience, a degree in Herbal Medicine and a Master’s degree-level education, in this workshop Lucie Bradley will introduce you to how a natural approach can be used to attain better hormone balance. She will show you how a natural approach using herbal remedies can be used to alleviate symptoms and causes of hormone imbalance.

Lucie is in clinical practice at Neal’s Yard Remedies, Glasgow City Centre and has a huge herbal apothecary at her home in Pollokshields. She also has a range of pre-blended, organic, therapeutic grade, loose herbal teas, tinctures (liquid medicine) and hand-made, small batch 100% natural face creams and body balms available to buy at the workshop, and online to help you access quality herbal products. She teaches regularly and runs an online herb learning course.
