The Glasgow Climbing Centre run activities for kids all year round! In addition to our regular weekend clubs, when the schools are off we also offer week day daytime activities starting at 11 O'clock.
Our holiday activities are suitable for kids aged 7-16.
The Holiday Club offers young climbers the time to get stuck into climbing. Suitable for the first time climber, we introduce all the core skills of climbing, without focusing too much on teaching. Its all about having fun, with lots of different styles of climbing, from roped and autobelay climbs to bouldering.
Day Camp is 4 hours with all equipment hire and lunch included. The kids will climb and play games before stopping for a refuel in our great cafe. After their pit stop they’ll be abseiling from the spire of the church before more climbing and games. The instructor will teach the kids the basics of climbing in a fun and safe environment.
As a Primary Centre for the delivery of the National Indoor Climbing Award Scheme (NICAS), we can recognise climbing development in young people in any of our sessions. For structured regular learning, ask about our Edge Clubs.
