You are invited to the zine launch of 'Closeness', Sapphic Writers' third issue of their zine project.
Closeness will be released on the 27th of December, featuring writing on the themes of home, family (chosen or otherwise), relationships and general coziness.
Sapphic Writers is a collective of women and non-binary people who all share a mutual sapphic experience. This collective came together to give people a space to release their creative energies, seek out advice, and find a safe community free of judgment and prejudice.
The event will feature readings from the selected authors, who will have the chance to discuss their pieces and answer questions from the audience.
Contributors to 'Closeness' include:
[event top image: the front cover of 'Closeness'. A mustard background with the word 'Closeness' in capital letters at the top of the page and the words 'Sapphic Writers Collective, Issue #3' in curly lowercase letters at the bottom of the page. In the center of the page is a visual arts piece of a path with trees on the left side and a little red house on the right side. Above the path is a sunset and some large clouds, and in the distance and at the sides are mountains.]
Please note: this event will be recorded, and content from the recording may be shared publicly online by Sapphic Writers and their followers for promotional purposes.
