About Feelzines: Zine-making As Emotional Self Care

Zine-making can be a therapeutic and fun tool for processing our emotions and learning about ourselves. This gentle DIY workshop will look at ways we can use zines to help safely express and respond to our feelings, both personally and in community with each other.

About the workshop leader:
I'm Sophie, a trainee art therapist based in South-East London. I teach art and have worked in variety of community settings providing psychological support to children and adults.

Access Information About This Event
This event is for ages 16+ and will be held online. You will need a good internet connection and a laptop/computer/mobile device to join us.

There will be 20 attendees maximum, and the event will feature comfort breaks. During this event, participants will be involved in: Whole group discussions, Hands-on activities, Writing.

If you have any specific access requirements please indicate when reserving a ticket and we will do our best to meet any requests within our limited budget. We are more able to meet requests made at least two weeks in advance. Events may be recorded for access reasons.

In order to make our events more accessible to those on a low income, we use a sliding scale ticket price of £0-£12 for our events. You can choose what you pay based on your economic circumstances - you can read more about our ticketing system here: https://glasgowzinelibrary.com/ticketing.

Glasgow Zine Library is an archive and library based in the Southside of Glasgow. It acts as a growing archive of self-published works, with an inviting and accessible area of reading in the space, as well as running a year-long programme of events to celebrate the ethos of Do It Yourself (DIY) culture.
