The MA/MFA Acting/Directing Classical and Contemporary Text programme at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland presents On The Verge, the annual showcase of new work of big ideas and big ambition - a step into the unknown.
The 2021 January festival explores 'big issues' such the impact of social media, mental health and identifying as a woman in today’s world. There is also a piece that delves into what love looks like when it is haunted by the mistakes trapped within time, and another that examines the meeting of cutting edge behavioural science data and deep learning Artificial Intelligence.
On The Verge has been a part of the RCS performance calendar for over 10 years, during which time many of the performers and writers have gone on to tour their work nationally and internationally.
