About the workshop leaders:
Decolonise Fest is an annual London-based, volunteer-run, non-profit DIY punk festival collectively organised by and for punx of colour. Our collective is made up of activists, militant community organisers, musicians, and artists. We are uncompromising, strong and active in dismantling the white supremacy, patriarchy, classism, ableism and Islamophobia that infests the punk scene. White allies are welcome but remember, this event will focus on people of colour.
[Event image description: A green illustration of two women of colour crouching on top of fallen statues and rubble. They are dressed in punk style clothes. One is holding a guitar, the other drumsticks and a wrench. There is a bass guitar underneath her. Around them are beads intertwined with a vine with thorns. The background has green clouds. The text at the top reads "DIY Decolonial Publishing with Decolonise Fest"]
