Are you:
Triggered you when you experience eye rolling, huffs & puffs and 'attitude' from your teen/tween?
Questioning whether you're being unreasonable in your response?
Feeling like you want to pull your hair out?
Does this sound like your house?
Well, I have news for you that I hope will be comforting.
You are not alone!
Even better news....
There are reasons, particularly biological reasons, that will help you to understand what's at play.
In short, it's part of adolescent development so it is not you and it is not you being unreasonable. However, there's lots more to share and discuss that we believe will help you to understand yourself and your kids better, enhance your communication and build your resourcefulness and resilience.
Sound good? Well come along to this call where we'll be talking about:
- What's actually going on: where the 'attitude' or disrespect is coming from
- Techniques to stay calm, respond effectively and have productive conversations
- Conversations to have with your teens and tweens
- Understanding what's important to you and to them
- The beauty of understanding each other and compromise
- What to avoid and when to be concerned
Our calls are informative, informal, supportive and there's usually fun and laughs along the way. We'd love you to join us!
