Print Clan's Print from Home courses have been specially designed as the perfect introduction to textile screen printing. Over four weeks you will learn the craft of screen printing through a combination of live weekly workshops and instructional videos and handouts. You will have the chance to experiment with different techniques and materials whilst exploring colour theory and pattern making. As part of the course Print Clan will provide a materials pack with all the equipment you need to get started.
As this course takes place online you will need access to a computer, laptop or mobile device with an internet connection. You will need a table top or surface to print on, and access to a sink, shower or hose to wash your screen in between sessions. Print Clan will provide all the materials you need to get going, including a screen, squeegee, inks and fabric samples.
This course is open to people of all abilities and ages - you do not need any screen printing experience to take part. If there are multiple people in your household please feel free to take part together as flatmates, partners or families.
The course fee includes a returnable £30 materials deposit to cover the loan of some pieces of equipment for the duration of the course, such as the screen and squeegee. After returning these at the end of the course you will be refunded the cost of the deposit (subject to T & Cs).
