Sometimes relationships don't work and there are times where parents/carers have to live separately.
So how do we support our young people to navigate that with all the challenges that come along with having to adjust to living in two homes?
Relationships can be difficult and when they breakdown it can be difficult not to get caught up in the emotions and frustrations that come with that.
As parents we can at time struggle to find a way of communicating with our teens or tweens because we are trying to protect them or because we don't want them to worry.
We don't know how much information is the right amount or what is too much information, its difficult to know what is right. And just as difficult not to have hurt spill over.
So this workshop is designed to help you as a parent or carer to support your young person through those changes and help them to communicate with you when things are tough for them.
The workshop will cover:
• Exploring how much information is okay to share
• How to feel comfortable having those big talks
• How to re-set/re-evaluate the boundaries
• Feeling comfortable in the expressions of emotions that can arise during those challenges for both yourself and your young person
Does this sound like something you would like support with?
