Check out the booty, Queer Theory is back in the sweat-drenched flesh! It's divine, it's names, darling; it's thighs, it's poetry, it's body hair and wonderbras in Nice N Sleazys, where the gender bending never ends.
You've been longing for it and now, we're longer than ever - as part of Sanctuary Queer Arts’ showcase week, we’re throwing an all-night extravaganza with cabaret from 7:30pm to 11pm and a queer dance party til 3am.
Our acts have 18 months' worth of fabulous backed up and they're going to explode so bring your wet wipes - it's our juiciest joyfest ever!

About Sanctuary Queer Arts: We are proud to be collaborating with Sanctuary - Scotland’s newest arts organisation for LGBTQIA+ folx - on this event! Head to their website to find out more about them, and check out their full fabulous programme of showcase events: www.sanctuaryqueerarts.com
Venue accessibility: we are using the basement venue that is only accessible by stairs. Toilets will be gender neutral and the venue has a safe space policy.
Concessions: Queer Theory prices tickets at £5 so that it's affordable for as many people as possible while ensuring artists are paid. If you can't afford to buy a ticket please get in touch at hello@sanctuaryqueerarts.com to enquire about Sanctuary sponsored tickets.
Digital Delights: The event will be filmed and highlights will be broadcast in a free BSL-interpreted and captioned digital livestream on Thu 14 Oct (separate event listing coming soon!).
Covid: We encourage all attendees to take a lateral flow (and preferably a PCR test if possible) before the event. All attendees will be required to enter their details into track and trace. Masks should be worn (unless you’re exempt) when moving around the venue such as going to the bar or bathroom. We will be strictly observing Nice n Sleazy’s capacity rules. As mentioned above, a filmed broadcast of the event will also be available to those who are shielding, self-isolating or who may not yet feel comfortable attending a busy live event in person.
We recommend arriving early to ensure entry, and especially if you’d like a seat to watch the show. The £5 entry fee will apply all night. We expect that we may reach capacity during the cabaret show, but that we’re likely to be able to let new guests in after midnight.
If you have any questions at all, please don’t hesitate to get in touch at queertheoryglasgow@gmail.com and/or hello@sanctuaryqueerarts.com
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
