The Hidden Gardens is a beautiful outdoor space, developed in 2003 on the site of the former Coplawhill Tramworks in Pollokshields. We would love you to join us on Saturday 18th September 1pm – 3.30pm as we explore ways to Garden for a Greener Planet.
Volunteer led tours will be available in English and Urdu, where you can learn about the hidden layers of history as this derelict site was transformed into a community resource for people and wildlife.
Visitors of all ages can take part in activities – discover how plants adapt to different climates; take part in a Bioblitz with RSPB Scotland to help us gather information on the wildlife living here; learn about gardening without peat and growing your own garden plants.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
