Climate Fresk, a global organisation committed to climate education, has partnered with the college to host up to 200 climate education workshops that will run throughout COP26, from 1 to 12 November.
Part of a Glasgow Colleges Region initiative, the event will engage and encourage staff and students at the three Glasgow colleges to make long-term choices to help protect the planet.
Climate Fresk was established to help raise awareness and understanding of climate change. Over 200,000 participants have completed the workshops across 45 countries in 25 different languages.
City of Glasgow College’s City campus, on Cathedral Street, will be the main hub for the workshops running on weekdays from 1 to 12 November. They will offer teams of students and staff from across the region the opportunity to work together to understand the scientific basis of climate change.
If you wish to attend one of these free in-person workshops please follow this link to register.
As part of a regional commitment to fighting climate change, Glasgow Clyde and Glasgow Kelvin Colleges will run Climate Fresk workshops. Online workshops are also available and those wish to attend those should follow this link and add the code, COP26GlasgowColleges.
