We are delighted to welcome Grete Faremo, United Nations and UNOPS Under-Secretary-General and Executive Director as a speaker to our Signature Series of events, to share her global perspective on how businesses can play a leading role in addressing the climate emergency.
Grete Faremo firmly believes the public is calling for climate action, and that governments at all levels and international organisations must increase their efforts to meet these demands.

Grete Faremo joined the United Nations and UNOPS (United Nations Office for Project Services) as Under-Secretary-General and Executive Director in August 2014. Before this appointment, Ms. Faremo held various senior-level positions for the government of Norway, including leading four ministries. She brings a wealth of experience from the private sector, working as the Executive Vice President for the Norwegian insurance group, Storebrand, and as Director of Law and Corporate Affairs at Microsoft Corporation's Western European Office.
