Charity Heroes are hosting a Posh Frocks event at The Hub in Glasgow on Sunday 21st November to raise vital funds for their charity of the year, Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland!

The event is set to be a great day out for fashion-lovers and those with a keen eye for a good deal with hundreds of high-quality, pre-loved dresses and accessories from high-street favourites available to purchase.

You’ll find items from Forever Unique, Hobbs, Ted Baker, Coast, Phase Eight, Whistles and many more, with prices starting at just five pounds. There is a good range of sizes and there will be the facility to try things on.

There will also be a Christmas Market with a great selection of pop-up stalls at the event to help people get their Christmas shopping started. Payment can be made in cash or card.

All proceeds from the event will go to Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland and help people living with chest, heart and stroke conditions live their lives to the full.

The charity provides vital support people to help them manage their conditions, rebuild their lives, and live well at home after returning from hospital.

Andrea McIntyre, Community and Event Fundraising Manager at Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland, said: “It’s fantastic to have the support of Charity Heroes and to be part of this fabulous event and partnership!

“We’ve been lucky enough to get a sneak peek at the dresses and there are loads of incredible gowns and outfits up for grabs. Prices start at just £5, and every purchase will be helping people living with chest, heart and stroke conditions across Scotland get the vital support they need this Christmas.”

Fiona Irvine, Founder of Charity Heroes said: “We are delighted to be running this event as a change from our usual lunch. The event has been sponsored by Rainbow HR meaning that we can maximise our fundraising for Chest, Heart and Stroke Scotland. We have over 500 dresses and the Pop Up shops give a great opportunity to buy local for Christmas.”
