As we delve into the season of woolly hats, last minute Christmas shopping and mulled wine, Glasgow welcomes new food and drinks venue The Winter Garden.
The Winter Garden combines bohemian aesthetics and a cheerful atmosphere to give ultimate beer garden vibes. Seating is sheltered from the harsh bite of winter, and overhead heaters replicate that unbeatable feeling of cosying up by the fire. When dusk falls, the Winter Garden lights up with hundreds of fairy lights, casting an enchanting party atmosphere.
Festive flavours are in full bloom with spiced apple and festive cranberry hot cocktails, Baileys hot chocolates, mulled wine and hot whiskey coffees all part of the Winter Warmer menu. These delightful drinks are accompanied by food offerings from a group of dynamic local vendors: AkchoNacho, Street Scullery and Say Cheese.
Watching down over the Winter Garden from an impressive mural are the faces of Indigenous leaders who played a key part in the COP26 climate change conference. The mural celebrates their strength and wisdom, and the Winter Garden sits proudly underneath this great symbol of togetherness and community.
The Glasgow Winter Garden is a family and dog friendly venue, suitable for large groups and parties. Open Thursday-Sunday 11am-10pm in Candleriggs Square, Merchant City.
