During December we will launch a series of classes on a Sunday evening between 7-8pm in our peaceful studio. Participants will be invited to take a restful pose, making use of our yoga bolsters/mats/blankets or a seat if preferred, the lights will be dimmed, the room warm, and you will be led through a relaxation practice before exploring the theme of the evening.
This classes are a blend of guided mindfulness, meditation exercises and relaxation and will help increase loving kindness towards yourself, bringing calm and relaxion to your body and mind whist promoting positivity and joy within.
We begin the series on Sunday 5th December with Self Compassion & ‘Kindfulness’. During this session, we will explore how we can be kinder to ourselves, how to be more positive and overcome negative self-talk, and promote loving self-acceptance and spiritual growth.
On Sunday 12th December we will explore Positive Thinking, Self-Esteem & Happiness. Using meditation, we can generate our own positive thinking, challenging negative self-talk & nurture our self-esteem. The class will contain meditation & relaxation techniques & a short talk/discussion on self-esteem & happiness.
Our final class of the year on Sunday 19th December will be focussed on Nurturing Gratitude. Practicing gratitude has incredible effects, from improving our mental health to boosting our relationships. It even helps you live longer! You’ll leave this class feeling more relaxed, more positive and more resilient!
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
