All the Poetry Slam winners from across Scotland throughout the past year compete for the title of National Champion, the prize money and the chance to represent Scotland in international competitions. A wide range of poets take part, from the funny to the fervent and furious. Robin Cairns comperes this enjoyable afternoon in the historic surroundings of The Britannia Panopticon Music Hall, the place where Stan Laurel made his stage debut at the age of 16.
