About A Walk in the Woods
Enjoy a walking tour of the Pollok Estate with one of our knowledgeable guides. Uncover the history of The Beggar's Tree, Lime Avenue and Rhododendron Walk as well as other key features within the estate, all while learning the history of the Maxwell family and their lives throughout the centuries.
The route has areas of rough ground and involves crossing styles; for this reason, we advise you to be prepared with good walking boots and waterproofs to allow you take part. This event is not suitable for small children.
This event is outdoors only, and does not include a visit within Pollok House; please book a house visit separately. Access to our café & toilets is permitted.
Arriving for your event
The walking tour will leave the front entrance of Pollok House promptly at 11am. We advise arriving for 10.45am
Parking
Pollok Country Park has restricted vehicle access. Please access the park at Dumbreck Road and park in the Riverside car park. Please visit the front desk to collect your free parking pass to display on your car as part of this booking.
