In fact, it’s also the coolest pre-school activity, too, now that you can bring toddlers to our new classes on Fridays.
If you’re not sure that Youth Circus is a great choice, you can come to a taster session on Sunday 7th August from 10am-12 noon to try out some of the activities before the Autumn term begins on Monday 15th August.
Youth Circus is for anyone up to 18 years old to learn all kinds of circus activities including:
Trapeze / Aerial hoop / Aerial silks / Aerial rope / Acrobatics / Acrobalance / Tumbling flips and tricks / Trampoline / Handstands / Tightwire / Juggling & poi / Parkour
And more!
No previous experience is required, all the activities are adapted for individuals to achieve success at whatever level you are ready for.
If you’ve done nothing other than school PE lessons, you’ll achieve a lot in a surprisingly short time, and if you’ve already done dancing, gymnastics, acrobatics, parkour or trampoline, you’ll develop those skills further, while learning new things.
Check out the quick video at www.aerialedge.co.uk to give you an idea of what Youth Circus is like. We make sure there are enough teachers to split the students into small groups for maximum learning benefit.
Circus activities have all kinds of benefits besides learning fun and cool skills. You can improve:
Social skills / Collaboration / Coordination and balance / Concentration / Confidence / Problem solving abilities / Patience / Reflexes and reaction times / Flexibility physically and psychologically / Creative expression / Brain function
Because of the variety of things we do in circus training, and the inherent fun of them, they are unparalleled among physical activities for developing the whole person.
The teaching ethos at Aerial Edge is centred on well supported learning through enjoyment. If you feel you may require additional assistance, just drop us a note via email or WhatsApp.
Autumn term runs from August 15 to December 16, culminating in a Christmas show. You can choose from classes on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. All of them give a broad-based foundation in circus skills.
