Pedal Glasgow G3 is a fun, welcoming, free-to-enter cycling event for people new to cycling and families.
How do I enter?
Pedal for Scotland events are free to enter. All you need to do is register for the event to take part.
Is this ride for me?
If you’re looking for a convenient, safe and exciting cycling environment, this event is for you!
Enjoy the ride on your own or with family and friends. The route is achievable for people of all abilities.
Why should I take part?
This is a perfect opportunity to enjoy and explore some of the local, traffic-free cycling routes along the River Clyde. After completing the ride you will finish back at The Pyramid and can enjoy entertainment, crafts, refreshments and a community tabletop sale.
You'll also get the opportunity to repair your bike through Dr Bike (Bike for Good) and take advantage of Police Scotland's bike marking service.
What can I expect?
The ride criss-cross the river - from The Pyramid, Anderston to Glasgow Science Centre and back. After enjoying the event, you’ll leave with a better idea of local cycling routes and opportunities to ride in the area.
What do I need?
Just a bike, a bottle of water and your sense of fun!
If you don't have access to a bike, you might be able to borrow one for the event by indicating that you need one in the registration form. For accessible bike needs please email info@thepyramid.scot.
Where does the route go?
Pedal Glasgow G3 will cover a beginner-friendly three-mile route, taking in the Clyde waterfront using existing cycle paths. The route will criss cross the river - from The Pyramid, Anderston to Glasgow Science Centre and back.
