Start off with off with ‘Bushcraft Bonanza’, where you’ll discover and learn skills needed to survive in the wilds, including the creating and sustaining of a controlled fire.
Next, you’ll be learning skills in orienteering and how to navigate the land, to find your way around our lovely park and beyond. The you’ll finish off the day making wood based craft creations.
The last day is wildlife discovery and story making, where you’ll learn how to find and identify our wild creatures, from tiny invertebrates and mammals to the birds in the sky, ending with a group story making session.
*This event is suitable for children aged 8-12 years and no adults are required.
