Hear from Lucy Gillie of South Seeds as she shares their remarkable journey towards sustainability.
At this event in partnership with Glasgow City Council we will hear from Dominic Dowling, Group Manager for the Business Growth Team in Glasgow City Council’s Economic Development division. Dominic will discuss his work supporting businesses through programmes such as Glasgow city’s first Green Business Support programme, designed to help local companies reduce their carbon footprint, build climate resilience, and move towards net zero.
One small business which has successfully utilised the Green Business Support programme is South Seeds, a community led charity who aims to enable residents in Glasgow’s Southside to live more sustainable. We will hear from Lucy Gillie, General Manager of South Seeds, about their journey to reaching their net zero goals and the lessons they have learnt along the way.
