Join Platform Glasgow for their Open House event on Friday 20th June where you can take a look around the venue and try and hear about some of the classes and activities on offer.
About Platform Open House
Join us at Platform for a warm welcome at Open House, an open day for those who are new to Platform. An opportunity for those visiting us for the first time to have a look around the venue and the chance to try and hear about some of the classes and activities we offer.
Lunch will be provided, this is a relaxed, informal, friendly event and everyone is welcome.
We will host performances from members of our Platform Music Classes alongside a chance to get creative with artists from Printclan, offering the chance to screenprint onto fabric, taking home your own piece of hand-made art. Rounding off the day will be the chance to join our Platform Singers in their weekly session. We are also delighted to be hosting Travelling Gallery with their current exhibition, SEEDLINGS: DIASPORIC IMAGINARIES.
Open House is a chance to meet people, gather and socialise, as well as celebrate the creative talent that exists in our community.
Free but ticketed - please book your space before attending.
Open House is supported by the Refugee Festival Scotland.
