Say her name: Priyanka! The Canadian-born drag pop superstar shattered stereotypes, proving she’s more than a drag queen—she’s a legitimate artist making history. Priyanka, formerly Mark “Suki” Suknanan, began her career as a beloved host on YTV before stepping into drag and taking the entertainment world by storm. After winning Canada’s Drag Race in 2020, Priyanka cemented her place as a trailblazer, landing roles in Netflix’s Glamourous and Meet Me Next Christmas, joining HBO’s Emmy-winning We’re Here, and becoming a correspondent for CTV’s eTalk. Her face has graced Elle Magazine and Rolling Stone, with fans eagerly awaiting her debut album.
Priyanka’s 2021 EP Taste Test introduced bold, club-ready anthems like “Cake” and “Come Through,” earning over 15 million streams and showcasing her confident artistry. Her stunning music videos—dubbed “Priyanka’s Cinematic Universe” by fans—set her apart. From co-hosting the Canadian Country Music Awards to touring globally and performing at festivals like SXSW, Priyanka broke barriers, becoming one of the first drag artists to play major music festivals alongside acts like Lorde and Charli XCX.
Known for her fearless performances, infectious energy, and sickening visuals, Priyanka bridges the joy of drag shows with the grandeur of pop concerts. As she prepares to drop her debut album, featuring hitmakers like Scott Hoying and Damon Sharpe, Priyanka is set to redefine pop music on her terms. Involved in every aspect of her craft, from songwriting to editing music videos, she’s carving her own lane while inspiring others to do the same.
With unstoppable ambition, Priyanka’s next chapter will see her commanding stadiums. When that moment arrives, fans won’t ask, “What’s her name?” Instead, they’ll proudly declare: “Say her name—Priyanka!”
