R-CADE hosts a weekly boardgame meetup on Friday nights for anyone to join in, learn new games and make some new friends!
About R-CADE Boardgame Club
Each week staff will choose two different boardgames from the R-CADE games catalogue for the group to learn and play throughout the evening.
Our full games list can be viewed on our website, and we will announce our game of choice on our socials before each weekly event. Follow us on instagram @rcadeglasgow
This event has been created for anyone looking to find a fun and inclusive space to enjoy tabletop games with friends, or to make new friends and learn new games. You are not required to join in the meetup at our big cafe table when you arrive, you can even choose a different game from our collection and play with others or by yourself.
If you choose to join in our main boardgame activities please note that we have a £5 fee to play the hosted boardgames advertised OR a £3 to play the other games from our boardgame catalogue. Just let our staff know what you would like to do when you arrive. Please note that our venue is card only, no cash.
We have reserved 8 spaces for the event, but our cafe can seat up to 15 people so if you are not able to reserve a ticket there may still be space available at a first come, first served basis if you arrive on time.
Please note that we have a fair usage policy in our cafe; a drink and/or snack must be purchased during your visit. Support your local!
If you reserve a ticket but are unable to attend, please make sure to cancel it or contact us so we can offer this reserved space to another person wishing to attend. We have a 15 minute wait for player arrival, after this point you forfeit your free reservation and we may give the space to someone else at the venue. If you think you might be running late please message us via our live chat on our website at www.rcadeglasgow.com
Alcohol is permitted at our Over 18's events, however a corkage charge is levied on ALL drinks brought into the premises. Corkage fees are as follows and are non negotiable - Up to 330ml: £1 per beverage. 330ml and above: £2 per beverage. Wine and any drink above 12% ABV: £4 per beverage. Spirits (vodka, gin, whiskey, bourbon, rum, etc) are not permitted at anytime. Non-alcoholic beers and ciders are charged at a flat rate of £1 per beverage.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
