The heart of Govan comes alive this summer for the Elder Park Community Festival — a massive collaborative event brought to you by nearly 20 incredible local organisations and community groups working together to create a day to remember!
Join us for a full day of family fun, music, arts and green living, with something for everyone:
• Live performances from talented local artists
• DJs , Dancers and performers sets on a professional stage with video screens & sound
• Kids’ zone with activities, games & creative workshops
• Eco Zone – upcycling, climate-friendly tips, and sustainability stalls
• Healthy food demos & nutrition advice – cook smart, eat well
• Art installations, community crafts & hands-on workshops
• Tasty street food and local traders
• Community info stalls and support from amazing local groups
This event is powered by the people of Govan, with support from local schools, housing associations, youth projects, artists, libraries, social enterprises, community, gardens and more.
It’s a true grassroots celebration of what we can do when we work together.
