Who is the group for?
The group aims to create a space for new mothers to come together to explore the experience of becoming a mother, and to support each other in a safe, creative and nurturing environment.
Priority will be given to mothers with babies under 1 who live within a mile of G42, or refugees/asylum seekers from anywhere in Glasgow.
The Govanhill Baths Wellbeing programme aims to reach people who are unemployed or low-waged, but we count being on Maternity Leave or working part-time due to childcare responsibilities as fitting this criteria.
Please note we have a limited capacity at sessions. Sessions will host a maximum of 8 people (+ babies at the Wednesday sessions with childcare support). We have a WhatsApp group for participants where we will post sign-ups for sessions around a week before they take place.
Childcare support will not be available at the Sunday sessions but partners/ friends/ family are welcome to sit with your baby in the foyer if this makes the session more accessible for you.

This project is proudly trans inclusive and adopts an expansive definition of Motherhood. Under our definition, we welcome anyone from a marginalised gender with caring responsibilities.
