Join one of Glasgow Wood’s talented woodworkers in their South Street workshop to learn how to build your very own piece of furniture. From cutting, assembling, to finishing, they’ll demonstrate every step which goes into transforming a pile of reclaimed scaffold boards into a finished product. For nearly the same price as purchasing the furniture from their online shop, why not take the opportunity to come in and learn for yourself and take away something made entirely by you?
Every session will also receive a short tour of their premises, located on the Barclay Curle Complex, home to one of the 4 remaining iconic Titan Cranes. You’ll also be taken through the journey of their reclaimed timber, from sorting and ‘stickering’ to preparing for resale and reuse.
See below for their upcoming sessions, and head to their website to learn more and reserve your space now.
