* The 'Winter Exhibition' in Gallery 1 is showcasing a selection of paintings, prints, ceramics and jewellery from invited artists. The Lillie is also stocking a range of unique Christmas gift ideas, including paper decorations, local soaps and wood turning.
* 'Elements' in Galleries 2 and 3 draws from the Lillie’s Permanent Collection and features work by artists Duncan Shanks, Joan Eardley, Sir William Gillies and Bet Low.
There will also be children’s activities running throughout, giving young ones the chance to make Christmas decorations or enjoy some colouring-in.
The Lillie Art Gallery – Station Road, Milngavie, G62 8BZ – is open Tuesday-Saturday, 10am-1pm and 2-5pm. Closed Sunday and Monday. Admission is free. Call 0141 956 5536 for more info.
