Ballet Inspired Yoga with Roseanna Leney (Scottish Ballet)
Limited spaces — advance booking required. Non-refundable
About the Workshop
Join Roseanna Leney, principal dancer with Scottish Ballet, for a unique 90-minute Ballet Inspired Yoga session exploring alignment, strength, and graceful movement through a ballet-inspired approach to yoga.
Many will recognise Roseanna from her powerful performance as Mary Stuart in Scottish Ballet’s “Mary, Queen of Scots” this autumn — a contemporary work that left audiences across Scotland captivated.
Today’s Reflection
In this beautifully balanced workshop, we worked the legs deeply, opened the chest, and explored elegant, ballet-inspired arm pathways that brought a sense of lift and poise. Roseanna shared so many insightful tips on using the body efficiently — the kind of wisdom that comes from being a top-level ballerina. It was joyful, grounding, and wonderfully relaxing all at once.
What to Expect
Ballet alignment principles woven into a flowing yoga practice
Guidance on finding fluidity within strength
Simple techniques to bring elegance into everyday movement
A grounding closing stretch and reflection
You’ll leave feeling lighter, longer, and inspired — with new awareness of posture, strength, and flow.
Who It’s For
Open to all levels — no ballet experience needed.
Perfect for yoga practitioners, movers, dancers, or anyone curious about cultivating graceful strength and body awareness.
