In this class, you’ll learn to transform your own hand-drawn design inspired by Glasgow’s beautiful tenement tiles, into a unique woodcut print, carved into high-quality Asian plywood using traditional tools. Whether you’re new to printmaking or looking to move beyond linocut, this workshop will deepen your skills and creativity. You’ll explore how to:

- Simplify complex objects into bold, graphic shapes
- Use line and texture to add detail, tone, and atmosphere
- Safely handle and carve with specialist woodcut tools

All materials & lunch will be provided.
