Join one of our free Wintering Well Health Walks with Glasgow Sport to find the light this winter. Leaving from and returning to the library, you are invited to walk with us and observe the winter sky. During our walks and on return to the library we will explore ways to Winter Well.

And we have created a reading list on our online catalogue to help give you a boost this winter.

• Mitchell Library on Monday 19th January 2026 at 11am
• Bridgeton Library on Thursday 5th February 2026 at 11am
• Castlemilk Library on Wednesday 18th February at 11am
• Drumchapel Library on Thursday 26th March 2026 at 11am

Walks will last 45-60 mins and will include a free cuppa on your return to the library. Walk Leaders will be on hand to encourage you to go at a pace you’re comfortable with and make sure you get the most out of your walk. All abilities are welcome, please bring a buddy if you need one to one support you.
