Join us for another edition of Southside SOUP, a community gathering of good causes, good food and good people. This event is about neighbours getting together to connect with one another, and support grassroots ideas and projects in the Southside of Glasgow. Taking place on Wednesday 25th February, hosted at Kinning Park Complex, 43 Cornwall St, Kinning Park, Glasgow G41 1BA.
Attendees register for a ticket and hear three presentations on ideas or projects based in Glasgow Southside. Everyone enjoys a bowl of soup and some live entertainment, while voting for one of the presentations. The presenter who receives the most votes takes home part of the money raised from ticket sales, and returns to the next SOUP event to update us on their progress.
General admission tickets are priced by ‘pay what you can’. 50% of ticket money will go into a pot for the presenters, and 50% will go towards covering event costs. Our cost to run the event is approximately £5 per person, so we suggest paying £10 for a ticket if you can.
£10 ticket = £5 to presenter's pot, £5 to event costs.
Importantly we do not want price to be a barrier for anyone wanting to attend. Please get in touch if this might be the case: glasgowsoupevents@gmail.com
EVENING SCHEDULE:
Doors open at 5.45pm - time to have some soup and a chat.
At 6.45pm, the host will step on stage.

Please note: this is an alcohol free event. Do not bring along any alcohol.
