Awrite troops, did ye miss us, aye? Don’t worry, The Tacky Tassel Club is back… and we’re worse than ever. This time join us as we WELCOME you to burlesque!
We’re diving heid first in tae pure, unfiltered Glasgow madness, with a burlesque and cabaret tribute tae one of Scotland’s absolute favourites — the almighty Still Game. We’ve dragged oor granny’s Midori oot the cupboard, dusted it aff, and we’re askin ye aw the big question: “Dae ye like the PlayStation?”
30% of proceeds will go to Alzheimer’s Scotland.
In oor hoose, we’ll take ye as ye are — wi or without rhinestones, in yer glad rags or yer itsy-bitsy teeny-weeny yellow polka dot kilt. Oor hoose is yer hoose, ye ken? Aye? Never been to a burlesque show before? Don’t panic we’ll let oor pal Georgina explain:
“It was not what we expected. It was not burlesque as I thought. It was a strip show where women came on and danced then stripped…”
