We warmly invite you to Indepen-dance's 30th Anniversary Annual Fundraiser at voco Grand Central Hotel on Saturday 14th March 2026.
Join us for an evening of food and dance to celebrate Indepen-dance achievements.
Founded in 1996 by Artistic Director Karen Anderson MBE, Indepen-dance began as 1 dance class a week with the aim to provide people with a disability the opportunity to dance in their community. Indepen-dance now reaches over 350 disabled participants through 27 online and in-person classes delivering measurable social impact and artistic excellence. We have established a local community of life-long members whilst providing the opportunity for disabled dancers to perform nationally and internationally.
Come along and enjoy a showcase from our remarkable dancers and help us sustain and grow our organisation.
Beginning with a drinks reception, the night will include a three course meal, performances from our community groups - Adult Performance Company, Evolve and Young 1'z, alongside speeches and stories from our members.
We have an exciting selection of auction and raffle prizes (TBA) to be won on the night.
We are very grateful to our headline sponsor of the event Insite Group.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
