Get ready for a wild night as gonzo rock 'n' roll legends, London based band Tankus, bring their fast-paced and immersive tour to Slay Glasgow on Thursday 5th March!
About Tankus
Tankus are a fiercely independent British band known for their “gonzo rock ’n’ roll” approach — a high-energy blend of rock ’n’ roll, New Orleans swing, funk, jazz and carnival-style groove. Fronted by charismatic singer-pianist Jaz Delorean, their shows are theatrical, fast-paced and deeply immersive, regularly turning venues into sweaty, communal dance floors.
This tour supports their latest release, Valley of Distraction, produced by Jim Sclavunos (Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds), with the new material now a central part of their live set.
The band have toured extensively across the UK and Europe and have appeared at festivals including Glastonbury and Montreux Jazz Festival and after popular demand, will be making their way through Scotland at Slay in Glasgow on March 5th and the Voodoo Rooms in Edinburgh on March 6th.
