Join award-winning opera singer and voice teacher, Louise Macdonald, who is leading a series of Find Your Voice Singing Workshops for Women in The Renfield Centre, Glasgow, from March 2nd. Breathwork meets singing for a life-affirming experience!
Have you always wanted to sing and would like to build your courage to sing with confidence? Do you have experience already as a singer and would like to gain new tools to keep your voice in good health throughout your life? You'll be part of a safe, nurturing and fun community of like-minded women from singer-songwriters and choral singers to those who simply wish to sing at home.
At each workshop there will be a new theme relating to vocal wellbeing and revision of breathing. We start with:
• gentle movement to ease the muscles and release tension
• a singing game or round
• vocal exercises and breathing to develop your technique
• singing a song in harmony, putting into practice what you have learned.
More details are in the Eventbrite link.
All levels of experience and ages (over-18) welcome! Inclusive, accessible venue. We look forward to welcoming you!
